Why work with a coach?
Working with a coach helps you reach your goals faster and makes the process more enjoyable. Having a thought partner and champion, someone holding you accountable, and (at times) challenging you, allows you to learn and grow in ways that you just wouldn’t on your own.
How will I know if we’re a good fit?
I offer a complimentary sample session to all prospective clients. Here we get to know each other a little bit, talk about what brings you to coaching, and I’ll do a sample of coaching with you. From that session, we’ll have a good sense of whether or not we’re a fit.
What can I expect from our coaching engagement?
I start every engagement with a detailed Discovery Session where I ask questions to get to know you better and learn what’s important to you. We define your coaching goals, define what success looks like, and agree on how we’ll work best together. From there, Coaching Sessions take place every two weeks, and you’ll come away with an assignment after each session. These assignments will feel very aligned to the coaching and they’ll stretch you - all in service of your goals.
What can I get coached on?
Anything going on at work or in your life is fair game for coaching. I will coach you on what’s most relevant and important for you. I will also always make sure that we’re tying the coaching, assignments, and learnings back to your goals.
How long will I need coaching for?
It really depends. Like any change you want to make, results take work and time. It’s no different than getting in physical shape or training for an event like a marathon. Some people work with a trainer for a certain goal and others work with them for life. Typically, engagements last 6 months (12 sessions) though I always work with the client to come up with the best arrangement to meet their specific needs.
